ELP uses reference information to help you choose a town or educational institution. Your profile answers remain your own description of your background.

Place names

Place information is adapted from GeoNames under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. We select locations and prepare their names and regional information for this catalogue.

Educational institutions

Institution references use the Research Organization Registry, published under CC0. Coverage varies by institution; this is not a complete school, faculty or course directory.

Study areas

Broad study areas follow ISCED-F 2013. An area groups related subjects; it does not confirm that an institution offers a particular course.

Your own names and suggestions

You can enter your course or programme name as you know it. A missing faculty, school or place can be saved as your own suggestion for ELP to review. Selecting or suggesting a record does not verify identity, student status or enrolment.
